FIEO to lead 20+ Indian companies at MITEX Moscow, boosting engineering exports and strengthening bilateral trade with Russia.

In a strategic push to strengthen industrial and trade ties with Russia, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, is set to lead India’s participation at the MITEX International Tools Expo 2025. The event will take place from November 11 to 14 at Crocus Expo in Moscow, bringing together global leaders in industrial tools, engineering, and hardware solutions.
This year, the FIEO-led India Pavilion will host over 20 Indian companies, showcasing a diverse portfolio including hand tools, engineering goods, industrial hardware, machinery parts, fasteners, and related industrial solutions. Positioned in Hall 5, the Pavilion highlights India’s fast-growing manufacturing capabilities and its emerging reputation as a reliable supplier in global industrial value chains.
The Indian delegation will be headed by S. C. Ralhan, President, FIEO, along with Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO, and Rohit Tejpal, Deputy Director.
Emphasising the growing partnership, Ralhan said, “Russia has been an important business partner for India, and the engineering and tools sector offers immense potential for collaboration. Our engineering exports to Russia are growing rapidly and are expected to reach US$ 1.75 billion this year. Participation at MITEX will deepen commercial ties and promote Indian manufacturing excellence, further boosting bilateral trade.”
To enhance business opportunities, the Embassy of India in Moscow, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, FIEO, and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), will host B2B meetings between Indian exporters and Russian industry representatives. These interactions aim to drive trade partnerships, explore joint ventures, and unlock new market linkages.
With global supply chains shifting and industrial cooperation rising, India’s presence at MITEX 2025 is expected to strengthen its footprint across international markets and accelerate growth in engineering exports.
