iGo set to roll out 6,000 BeiGo trikes for sustainable last-mile deliveries.
iGowise Mobility (iGo) is set to launch its heavy-duty electric trike, BeiGo, targeting the eCommerce and logistics sectors this Diwali. The company plans to deploy 6,000 BeiGo trikes over the next 18 months in collaboration with major eCommerce platforms like BBNow, Flipkart Minutes, and Swiggy Instamart.
The BeiGo trike, designed for high-load, last-mile deliveries, will be introduced in a rider-to-owner model. To facilitate the transition to electric vehicles, iGo has partnered with sustainable vehicle financier EvateTech, offering cost-effective financing solutions. The trikes can be rented for as little as INR 100 for 40 kilometres with no upfront costs, thanks to iGo’s Vehicle as a Service (VaaS) and Battery as a Service (BaaS) models.
CEO Sravan Kumar Appana highlighted the impact of BeiGo on the logistics industry, noting its potential to reduce last-mile delivery costs and increase rider earnings to INR 40,000 per month.
