Union Minister Piyush Goyal says no power can stop India from becoming a developed nation by 2047 under PM Modi’s vision.

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, announced that the government will roll out a 100 Days Agenda of Transformation to accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation. Speaking at the 2nd Lokmat Global Economic Convention, he said this roadmap will act on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to fast-track progress and achieve the goal of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
Goyal emphasised that the agenda is built on the ‘Panch Prans’ (Five Pledges), calling for collective responsibility from 140 crore citizens. “No power on earth can stop India from becoming a developed nation,” he declared, highlighting the unity, history, and resilience that will drive the nation forward.
The Minister underlined growing global confidence in India, citing its emergence as a leading consumer market and attractive investment destination. He credited initiatives such as Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat for strengthening supply chains and boosting self-reliance.
He also pointed to Maharashtra’s leadership in India’s economy, ongoing trade agreements, and the importance of reforms to ease business and improve competitiveness.
