Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced a groundbreaking initiative to develop an electric cable highway between Jaipur and Delhi, enabling a swift two-hour journey. Speaking in Jaipur, Gadkari emphasised the project’s comfort and cost-effectiveness, with travel comparable to business class and a 30 percent reduction in fare compared to diesel buses.
Reflecting on past achievements, he cited the successful Delhi-Meerut journey in 45 minutes and envisioned cross-city culinary exchanges. Gadkari asserted the BJP’s commitment to addressing national challenges beyond political change, aiming to eradicate hunger, poverty, and unemployment.
