DSV and Qatar Airways Cargo have partnered to operate twice-weekly flights linking Mexico, the US, Europe, and the Middle East, primarily serving the oil and gas industry. The flights are part of DSV’s air charter network and connect Mexico City, Huntsville, Luxembourg, and Doha. This partnership offers the potential for expanding the route further via Qatar Airways Cargo’s global feeder network.
These flights provide a vital link between the Americas and the Middle East, with Boeing 777 freighters offering 200 tons of weekly cargo capacity. Huntsville, USA, serves as a significant hub for exports to Europe, including auto parts, perishables, and vehicles from Mexico. With this addition, Qatar Airways Cargo’s network in the Americas extends to 22 destinations, offering over 5,500 tonnes of combined weekly cargo capacity. DSV continues to expand its charter network, following its launch of services from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport earlier this year.
