Davies Turner Air Cargo, one of the UK’s leading air freight and logistics providers, has upgraded its Heathrow hub with a new fleet of advanced material handling equipment (MHE). The investment includes seven electric forklift trucks, three reach trucks, and a battery changing truck, all equipped with high-tech batteries and chargers from the Bobcat MHE range.
Partnering with Rushlift, its trusted supplier for nearly 30 years, Davies Turner emphasises innovation and safety. The MHE fleet features advanced safety technologies such as perimeter proximity lights, pedestrian detection cameras, and RFID beacons to prevent collisions. Fork cameras improve visibility, while progressive directional arrow lights enhance guidance in operational zones.
