Citroën India will supply 1,000 e-C3 electric vehicles to OHM E Logistics over the next year.
Citroën India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with OHM E Logistics to provide 1,000 e-C3 electric vehicles for their electric shared mobility services. The first phase saw the delivery of 120 e-C3 units in Hyderabad, with the remaining vehicles to be handed over in the next 12 months. These electric vehicles will be utilised as electric cabs in and around Hyderabad.
Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroën India, stated, “We are delighted to partner with OHM E Logistics in their endeavour to embrace sustainable transportation solutions. This partnership underscores our shared vision of promoting electric mobility and reducing carbon footprints in the mobility sector.”
Dr. Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman of OHM Group, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “With the Citroën All-New eC3, we are excited to add another feather in OHM’s cap in our progressing journey of sustainable energy solutions to reduce carbon emissions in our mission of making the earth more greener and viably sustainable.”
The Citroën e-C3, which will serve as electric cabs, boasts a range of 320 km (ARAI-certified) and includes features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, spacious seating, a large boot, and fast charging capability that allows it to be fully charged in less than an hour.
