CCI Group invests an additional ₹640 crore in a Grade-A logistics park in Polivakkam, Chennai.
CCI Group has announced an additional ₹640 crore investment in the expansion of its Grade-A logistics park in Polivakkam, Chennai, bringing the total investment in the project to ₹890 crore. This development further strengthens CCI’s position as a key player in India’s warehousing and supply chain sector.
The expansion, structured in two phases, includes Phase 2A, a standard logistics facility set to be operational by mid-2025, and Phase 2B, offering built-to-suit (BTS) solutions for industry-specific requirements. The facility is designed to cater to e-commerce, automotive, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors with high-quality infrastructure, including FM2 flooring, automated shutters, and energy-efficient ventilation.
CCI’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in the integration of a sewage treatment plant (STP), solar power systems, and skylights for natural lighting. Advanced fire protection systems will also ensure safety compliance.
With over 48 years of industry expertise, CCI Group operates across 48 Indian cities and 105 global locations, managing 15 million sq. ft. of warehousing space. Speaking on the expansion, Naresh Sharma, MD of CCI Group, highlighted Polivakkam’s strategic importance due to its proximity to the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam industrial cluster, positioning the facility as a logistics hub of the future.
