Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has partnered with GrayMatter Software Services to launch ‘BLR Pulse’, a personalised digital travel companion for passengers flying through Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The app aims to provide an enhanced airport experience by offering real-time information and interactive features.
BLR Pulse allows passengers to access essential details about the airport, navigate within the terminal buildings, and take control of their journey. It provides updates on entry gates, check-in counters, security check areas, and flight statuses. The app features an interactive chatbot that enables passengers to find answers to their questions and offers a WayFinder feature for easy navigation throughout the airport.
Passengers can also utilise the app to reserve tables at restaurants, order food for pickup or delivery, and even book transit hotels. BLR Pulse aims to alleviate common pre-travel concerns such as long security queues and wait times.
Hari Marar, MD and CEO of BIAL, expressed the goal of making travel through BLR Airport more seamless and convenient with the BLR Pulse app. It aims to provide passengers with a single-source solution to plan their travel, receive flight updates, access real-time information on airport queues, and enjoy various services offered within the airport premises.
