The Airbus Beluga, one of the largest freight aircraft in the world, made its touchdown at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. According to a news release issued by the airport manager, the whale-shaped Beluga arrived here on December 4, 2022.
Special arrangements were made for the aircraft’s landing, parking, and takeoff at GMR Hyderabad International Airport. According to the statement, the Beluga is renowned for carrying oversized air cargo.
In May 2016, the Antonov An-225, dubbed “the biggest cargo aircraft in the world,” made its initial landing here.
According to the announcement, the airport in Hyderabad was selected based on its technical capabilities and infrastructure quality.
