AVG Logistics to deploy 50 CNG trucks for Nestle India and Ashok Leyland, cutting 1.1 lakh kg of annual CO2 emissions.

AVG Logistics witnessed a 3.87 percent increase in its market value, reaching 182.50 rupees, following the announcement of a strategic alliance with Nestle India and Ashok Leyland. This collaboration focuses on the establishment of an eco-friendly supply chain corridor.
As part of the agreement, AVG Logistics will introduce 50 trucks powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) to facilitate Nestle India’s operations. This dedicated “green corridor” is designed to enhance logistical efficiency whilst significantly reducing environmental damage. The firm anticipates that this fleet will travel approximately 275,000 kilometres monthly, effectively cutting carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 110,000 kilograms every year.
According to AVG Logistics, the project will decrease reliance on traditional fossil fuels, bolster cost-effectiveness, and improve the overall durability of the supply chain. The company emphasised that this joint effort synchronises operational productivity with environmental targets, supporting a commitment to ecological preservation.
The business expects this arrangement to boost its financial results through higher vehicle occupancy and consistent demand. It also serves to highlight the company’s dedication to sustainable logistics and advanced transport technology.
Established in 2010, AVG Logistics provides diverse transport and storage solutions, including rail and road freight, cold storage, and third-party logistics. Operating via more than 50 automated centres across the country, the firm manages a fleet exceeding 3,000 vehicles and over 732,000 square feet of warehouse capacity. Its client list includes major names such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, and Unilever.
In terms of recent financial performance, the company reported a consolidated net profit of 5.08 crore rupees for the second quarter of the 2026 financial year, marking a 5.6 percent dip compared to the previous year, despite a 3.3 percent rise in operational revenue to 143.03 crore rupees.
