Amazon enhances its cross-border logistics program, offering Indian exporters better shipping solutions and compliance support.
On Tuesday, Amazon announced the expansion of its Global Selling Seller Exports and Delivery (SEND) programme, designed to help Indian exporters ship goods to international markets. The company introduced three new carriers covering air and ocean routes to the US, UK, and Germany, enabling sellers to expand their global reach.
SEND has now integrated with Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD), providing a low-cost bulk storage option for Indian exporters. This integration allows for efficient inventory management and distribution, enhancing sellers’ ability to meet global demand.
Additionally, Amazon launched the Export Navigator, a comprehensive dashboard designed to guide Indian exporters through compliance requirements. The dashboard covers export registration, certifications, taxation, shipping, and export incentives, and offers access to third-party service providers for faster, cost-effective logistics support.
Bhupen Wakankar, Director of Global Trade at Amazon India, reiterated the company’s commitment to boosting e-commerce exports and supporting Indian entrepreneurs in achieving USD 20 billion in cumulative exports by 2025.
