Amazon India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and the Cottage and Rural Industries Department of the Government of Gujarat. The collaboration aims to accelerate e-commerce exports from the state, with a focus on integrating weavers, artisans, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) onto Amazon Global Selling, an e-commerce exports initiative.
The initiative is set to boost exports and empower thousands of MSMEs by providing them access to Amazon’s global marketplaces. Through hybrid training sessions and workshops, Amazon and EDII will educate artisans on effective product listing and registration, further enhancing Gujarat’s business growth globally through e-commerce exports.
