Allcargo Terminals to develop a logistics park in Haryana, boosting North India’s freight connectivity.
Allcargo Terminals has announced plans to invest ₹115 crore in a multimodal logistics park in Farrukhnagar, Haryana. The project, developed in partnership with Haryana Orbital Rail Corporation (HORCL), is part of a ₹6,000-crore initiative led by Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation. The logistics park, spread over 100 acres, will include a private freight terminal, inland container depot, and warehouses.
Managing Director Suresh Kumar R. confirmed Allcargo’s phased funding approach, including a ₹23 crore commitment to HORCL equity and additional investments for land access and infrastructure in advanced stages. The Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC), a 135-km railway bypassing Delhi, will enhance freight connectivity, reduce congestion, and boost Haryana’s economic growth.
Set for completion by December 2027, the park aims to strengthen Allcargo’s northern market presence while acting as a hub for global investors. Kumar highlighted plans to expand capacity by 40-45 percent over the next six quarters, underscoring Allcargo’s pan-India logistics footprint.
