Allcargo Supply Chain (ASPL), a key player in contract logistics and a subsidiary of Allcargo Group, is embarking on a robust growth journey to address the evolving demands of the market. Presently managing 6 million sqft of space, ASPL envisions adding an additional 3 million sqft within the next 2-3 years, with the initial phase focusing on the north and south regions. ASPL currently operates warehouses across more than 80 locations in India.
Aligned with the rising demand for premium logistics solutions in sectors like auto engineering, e-commerce, chemicals, and retail, ASPL’s diversification strategy extends to transportation services expansion. The company is committed to meeting the dynamic needs of its diverse clientele, offering both Full Truck Load (FTL) and city distribution services.
Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, Managing Director of Allcargo Supply Chain, emphasised their focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and modernising infrastructure. The synergy with Gati, India’s premier express distribution company and part of Allcargo Group, positions ASPL to provide end-to-end logistics solutions, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain.
Commenting on the expansion plans, Sushil Rathi, Director of Allcargo Supply Chain, highlighted that it’s not just about increasing square footage but strengthening capabilities to better serve clients. The expansion includes the establishment of standardised warehouses with advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimise the movement and storage of goods while adhering to compliance requirements.
ASPL’s nationwide expansion will feature warehouses with cutting-edge facilities catering to various sectors. The distribution breakdown comprises 25 percent from the chemical sector, 30 percent from e-commerce, 25 percent from auto engineering, and 15 percent from other verticals. ASPL’s commitment to excellence is further evidenced by the setup of a state-of-the-art Grade A chemical warehousing facility at its multi-user complex in Uran, Navi Mumbai, serving MNC clients.
