Allcargo Supply Chain, a unit of Allcargo Logistics, has unveiled its latest Logistics Park in Panapakkam, near Chennai. Spread across 2.75 lakh sq. ft. of Grade-A warehousing space, the facility is designed to strengthen the company’s southern presence and provide advanced storage and distribution solutions.
Located at the intersection of NH 76 and SH 50, the hub offers seamless connectivity to Chennai Port, Sri City, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, and Red Hills, positioning it as a vital multi-modal gateway for pan-India distribution. With 32 docks, 16 dock levellers, and capacity to manage over 300 vehicles daily, the park can handle up to 60,000 tonnes per month.
The facility caters to sectors such as automobiles, e-commerce, and consumer durables, with 50% of capacity dedicated to automotive logistics. It also integrates sustainability features including solar-ready rooftops, LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, and water recycling systems.
The park is expected to create opportunities for around 400 contractual workers, reinforcing Allcargo’s role in India’s evolving supply chain ecosystem.
