Allcargo Gati gears up for festive season demand with enhanced operations and technology.
Allcargo Gati is preparing for a significant increase in shipments this festive season. The company has enhanced its technological capabilities and manpower at sorting and fulfilment centres, aiming to improve order processing and delivery efficiency.
Allcargo Gati has launched last-mile delivery operations for e-commerce giants in Maharashtra and West Bengal. Additionally, the company operates 15 mother hub sorting centres, all optimised to handle increased capacity during peak seasons.
To meet the surge in demand, Allcargo Gati plans to hire over 3,000 individuals in various operational roles. The company has also implemented advanced technologies such as double deep racking, conveyors, and advanced hand-held terminals. Sandeep Kulkarni, COO of Allcargo Gati, emphasised the company’s commitment to expanding its network and enhancing operational resilience.
With significant investments in infrastructure, including a 1.48 lakh sq. ft. facility in Bhiwandi, Mumbai, Allcargo Gati aims to provide extensive reach and superior service to its customers during the festive season.
