CK Govil, President of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI), attended the Valedictory Function of Estuary 25 as Chief Guest at the Indian Maritime University (IMU), Chennai. The two-day event brought together students from across the city, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the maritime and logistics sector.
Govil was honoured with a warm reception from IMU faculty and staff. In his address, he spoke about the evolution of global trade and the crucial role of maritime and air cargo in international commerce. He emphasised how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain are revolutionising freight management by enhancing transparency and efficiency.
Students engaged actively in discussions, appreciating insights into technology-driven trade transformation. Acknowledging IMU’s efforts, Govil praised the institution for nurturing future leaders in the maritime industry and fostering innovation-driven learning.
