After completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Singh attended GNIIT at NIIT and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from AIMA-CME, New Delhi. He envisioned building, growing, and expanding his career while also being a happier, healthier, more successful, and amicable personality. To accomplish the same, he kickstarted his career in sales with the renowned USA-based freight forwarding company Schaefco International in 1998. In the years to come, he joined WW Shipping Agencies (as an agent for Samudera Shipping Line) in 1999, Agility Logistics – a Kuwait-based multinational, as Manager – Business Development in 2006, and as the manager of sales at Jas Forwarding Worldwide in 2008. His dedication and diligence towards his work were well-rewarded as he got promoted to Regional Manager – Business Development Ocean (North). Furthermore, in 2013, he expanded his horizons by joining Hanjin Logistics – a Seoul-based company specializing in global freight forwarding, warehousing, and road transportation., as the National Manager – Strategic Sales (India).
His career advanced in 2017, as EUSU Logistics – a Korean multinational, appointed him as the Chief Commercial Officer. In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall business growth and operations of the company in India. In his last stint, Asia Shipping International Transport hired him in 2019 as the “Country Head—Commercial”, and soon promoted him to the “Country Head” owing to his performance and leadership abilities. To the present day, he leads the PAN India team for them and is accountable for the overall business growth in India. Recently, he was also awarded the highest category award for “Sales Excellence – 2022,” for his outstanding contribution and supremacy in the growth and business development of the organization.

In accordance with his school of thought, logistics operations should be automated for better decision-making. He believed that implementing and fully utilizing modern-day tools would help automate the work process and make daily tasks easier. Besides, he thinks that it also increases employee productivity and helps foster strategic alliances with logistics partners for the convenience of carrying out shipments on a daily basis. For this, he strives to choose individuals who are familiar with the analysis and complexities of such resources. He believes that, though the freight field is dynamic, it is possible to swiftly spot changes by staying up to date with market conditions. In order to immediately take advantage of spot rates or bargain for lower rates with carriers, the organization should position itself to include flexibility in its rate procurement process. And that is why his journey boasts of his strategic efforts toward elevating the Shipping and Logistics sector to new heights.
With more than 22 years of extensive proficiency in numerous assignments, he dawns excellent communication, exceptional problem-solving skills, a finesse in leadership aptitude, and in-depth knowledge of the logistics industry, all of which sets him apart from the rest of the shipping and logistics fraternity crowd. Besides, his positive approach, optimism, relentless hard work, dedication and passion, kindness towards his colleagues and friends, and willingness to work as a team are what help him take his game a notch higher.
