Union Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal emphasised a twin-track approach at the Dilli Dialogue in New Delhi.

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal has emphasised a twin-track approach of engaging with the world’s best technologies and identifying areas with significant job and business potential. He was addressing the ‘Dilli Dialogue: Policies for a Future-Ready India’ in New Delhi.
Shri Goyal highlighted India’s expanding engagement with global markets through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), saying partnerships with developed economies could benefit both sides, with India offering strengths in textiles, footwear, agriculture and food processing while gaining access to advanced technologies and high-quality electronic equipment.
“We are not closing the doors of India to the world. We are, in fact, opening them wider,” he said.
He referred to the trillion-dollar export target and expressed confidence in India’s ability to achieve it.
Shri Goyal expressed confidence that India would emerge as a global hub for car manufacturing, stating that international automobile manufacturers would increasingly manufacture in India as market demand reaches a viable scale.
Shri Goyal concluded by emphasising that if India adopts and practises world-class quality standards, no power on earth can stop it and the world is India’s to capture.
