Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd. (CCPL) and Air India’s SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-create a collaborative framework that will enhance the secure movement of customs-compliant export cargo from CCPL’s Air Freight Station (AFS) to the Air Cargo Terminal at Noida International Airport (NIA), Jewar with improved efficiency in a structured manner.

The MoU was signed at the AISATS Multi-Modal Cargo Hub at Noida International Airport, Jewar by Mr Vaibhav Vohra, Managing Director, Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd., and Mr Ramanathan Rajamani, Chief Executive Officer, AISATS, in the presence of Mr Vipin Vohra, Chairman, Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd.
Under the agreement, customs-cleared export transshipment cargo will be securely transferred to the AISATS Integrated Cargo Terminal via bonded trucking. The arrangement will ensure smooth coordination during cargo transfer, adherence to applicable regulatory and customs guidelines, and timely handover of cargo to the designated airline for onward international dispatch.
This collaboration will offer exporters a cost-effective and streamlined gateway to NIA and will accelerate the cargo movement by airlines operating from Noida International Airport. Additionally, the cargo movement from CCPL’s AFS to the AISATS facility will reduce the logistics costs for the exporters.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vaibhav Vohra, Managing Director Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd., said that the MoU marks an important milestone in strengthening India’s evolving air cargo ecosystem and empowers exporters to seamlessly leverage the upcoming capacity at Noida International Airport. “We are proud to associate with AISATS, an organisation that modernise logistics ecosystems and enhance ease of doing business for exporters and trade partners”.
Mr Ramanathan Rajamani, CEO, AISATS, said, “India’s next phase of industrial and export-led growth demands cargo infrastructure that can scale rapidly, operate predictably, and meet global standards of compliance and efficiency. At Noida International Airport, AISATS is building a truly integrated multi-modal cargo ecosystem that brings together airside operations, bonded trucking, and modern cargo terminals into a seamless operating environment. As manufacturing expands across sectors, we have built a digitally enabled cargo ecosystem that is capable of handling specialised flows with speed, reliability, and resilience. This partnership with Continental Carriers strengthens that ecosystem by enabling smoother transshipment flows, reducing congestion at legacy gateways, and offering exporters a more efficient and cost-effective pathway to global markets.”
The MoU reinforces the shared commitment of CCPL and AISATS to support India’s export growth by building integrated, efficient, and compliant air cargo logistics solutions.
