JSI Alliance establishes new office in Bilbao to boost project cargo and heavy lift services across Iberia and beyond.

The JSI Alliance has announced the opening of a new office in Bilbao, expanding its footprint in the Iberian Peninsula’s project cargo and heavy lift sector.
The branch, formed in partnership with Noatum Maritime Services and SAL Heavy Lift, will provide commercial representation and port agency services across Spain, Portugal, and North Africa. The move is aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and supporting the alliance’s multipurpose and heavy lift fleet.
Terry Gidlow, CEO of Noatum Maritime Services, said the collaboration marks an important step in advancing growth strategies in port agency services. Dr. Martin Harren, CEO of SAL Heavy Lift, emphasised that the Bilbao office would strengthen links between European ports and the Americas, particularly in view of the alliance’s planned fleet expansion.
The JSI Alliance, comprising Jumbo Shipping, SAL Heavy Lift, and Intermarine, is globally recognized in project logistics and will soon commission its first Orca Class vessel, the latest in heavy lift efficiency.
