EasyEcom, a warehouse management provider, stated that their analysis is based on data collected by its software-as-a-service platform, which focuses on omnichannel inventory and warehouse management, as well as reconciliations.
E-commerce platforms are expected to have grown 30% year on year during the first week of the holiday season, according to inventory and warehouse management tech provider EasyEcom on Wednesday. According to EasyEcom, e-commerce volume will rise faster in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns than in Tier-1 cities, with non-metros accounting for approximately 80% of overall e-commerce sales and Tier-2 towns accounting for roughly 60%.
“The first week of festive sales across India’s e-commerce platforms would exceed the gross merchandise value on non-sale days by five times, anticipating a total that is around 1.3 times higher than last year,” EasyECom said.
According to the company, their analysis is based on data collected by its software-as-a-service platform, which focuses on omnichannel inventory and warehouse management, as well as reconciliations.
