Roadcast and AMU collaborate to implement GPS tech in EVs, boosting fleet management and financial operations.
Roadcast, a SaaS-based logistics automation platform, has announced a partnership with Accelerated Money for U (AMU), a non-banking financial company (NBFC) specialising in financing electric vehicles (EVs). According to a release from Roadcast, AMU will incorporate Roadcast’s GPS technology into the e-rickshaws they finance, aiming to monitor and manage fleets effectively, adapt to technological advancements, and contribute to the national IoT ecosystem. This collaboration also targets emerging markets in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
The GPS technology will enable AMU to predict and identify non-performing assets and riders who may default on payments. Additionally, the analytics provided will offer insights into the performance of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Rahul Mehra, co-founder of Roadcast, stated, “Adopting Roadcast’s GPS device will significantly impact NBFCs by enabling faster fund reallocation. In leasing agreements, timely fund recovery is crucial, and Roadcast’s technology provides predictive insights that support proactive risk management strategies.”
Nehal Gupta, Founder and MD of AMU, added, “The access provided by Roadcast will help us navigate the complexities of NBFC operations more efficiently. Their IoT expertise for real-time vehicle tracking will enhance security and reliability in EV operations.”
