Mahindra Logistics joins forces with Sufiya Sufi for the ‘Kargil Vijay Run’ to honor Kargil War heroes.
Mahindra Logistics has partnered with renowned ultra-marathon runner and five-time Guinness World Record holder Sufiya Sufi to support the ‘Kargil Vijay Run’ initiative. This event commemorates the brave soldiers of the Kargil War, embodying Mahindra Logistics’ commitment to “Igniting Success” and supporting army veterans by providing career opportunities and aiding their transition to civilian life.
The ‘Kargil Vijay Run’ is a poignant tribute to the valour and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, showcasing Sufiya’s incredible endurance as she ran from the Galwan War Memorial to the Kargil War Memorial. Facing freezing temperatures, a total elevation gain of 8000 meters, altitudes above 3500 meters, and oxygen levels at just 60 percent, Sufiya covered an astonishing 490 kilometers in eight days.
As Kargil Vijay Diwas approaches, the ‘Kargil Vijay Run’ stands as a powerful reminder of the courage and determination of India’s soldiers. Mahindra Logistics’ collaboration with Sufiya Sufi has created a lasting tribute to the heroes of Kargil, ensuring their legacy continues to inspire future generations.
