Blue Dart has successfully initiated drone deliveries in partnership with Skye Air, a drone technology leader. This development signifies a major leap towards more efficient and eco-friendly delivery solutions. Following successful VLOS trials in Vikarabad, Hyderabad, in September 2021, and BVLOS trials under Telangana’s ‘Medicine from the Sky’ initiative, Blue Dart is at the forefront of integrating drone technology into logistics.
Targeting the burgeoning e-commerce sector, this innovative delivery method aims to transform last-mile logistics by enabling same-day delivery, thus reducing both delivery times and environmental impact. This significant achievement aligns with World Environment Day, underscoring Blue Dart’s dedication to sustainable logistics practices.
