The Government of India’s Ministry of Finance announces working days for Indian Customs departments.
In an official notice from the Ministry of Finance, the Department of Revenue (Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs) has declared that all field formations of Customs under CBIC will be operational from 29 March to 31 March, 2024.
These days will be treated as regular working days for the departments. The notice urges all Principal Chief Commissioners, Chief Commissioners, and other relevant authorities to ensure compliance with this directive. The decision is in line with efforts to maintain operational efficiency and facilitate necessary processes within the Customs departments.
It is emphasised that this notice is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority, indicating its official status and importance.
