FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, announces a groundbreaking partnership with World Logistics Passport (WLP) during the 2024 FIATA-RAME Field Meeting in Dubai, coinciding with discussions on pivotal logistics themes.
FIATA has unveiled a strategic alliance with World Logistics Passport (WLP), marking a significant leap in advancing international trade facilitation. The partnership, disclosed during the 2024 FIATA-RAME Field Meeting in Dubai, serves to ease trade processes for the vast global network of FIATA, encompassing over 40,000 freight forwarding and logistics companies in 150 countries.
WLP’s logistics loyalty program provides financial and non-financial benefits, including expedited cargo movement, reduced administrative costs, and improved cross-border trade facilitation. Stéphane Graber, Director General of FIATA, emphasises the alignment of this collaboration with FIATA’s mission to overcome global barriers and promote trade standards amid increasing environmental and political complexities disrupting supply chains.
Mahmood Al Bastaki, General Manager of World Logistics Passport, underscores the partnership’s significance, offering WLP members access to a vast network.
