Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh declared that the road connecting remote Pipsorang from Tali in Kra Daadi district will be motorable by Independence Day next year. The ongoing construction of a 55-km road from Tali to Pipsorang is set to open up the region.
Khandu emphasised the significance of this development, stating that the national Tricolour would be unfurled at Pipsorang on Independence Day, with local legislator Jikke Tako arriving by road. The move fulfills Khandu’s 2017 promise to ensure road connectivity to Tali. He applauded MLA Jikke Tako for dedicated efforts, noting the positive impact on infrastructure, connectivity, and the local population’s well-being.
