ALMAC successfully concluded, bringing together over 2,300 global leaders. The two-day event sealed 11 MoUs and nearly 400 business matches.

The 15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC), successfully staged over two days by the HKSAR Government and the HKTDC at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, drew over 2,300 participants from more than 40 countries and regions. Featuring insights from over 80 industry leaders, the event concluded with significant results, facilitating nearly 400 business matching meetings and seeing the successful signing of 11 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across the aviation, logistics, shipping, and technology sectors, including a notable MoU between the HKTDC and Greater Bay Airlines.
The conference, themed “Collaboration and Growth in the New Trade Landscape,” heavily featured discussions on supply chain diversification, sustainability, and technological innovation. Leading business executives emphasised the critical role of strong partnerships and resilience for navigating geopolitical tensions and disruptions. Brian Bourke, Global Chief Commercial Officer of SEKO Logistics, advised attendees to “watch out for the new technologies,” and stressed that the focus must be on a resilient supply chain and diversification, adding that “it’s the partnerships you forge that are going to help when the unknowns happen.” Reinforcing this point, Henri Le Gouis, Executive Vice President of Global Freight Forwarding at GEODIS, noted that when facing disruptions, “we need people who are able to decide, make the right decisions, and find the right solutions even if the events are unexpected.”
Furthermore, the event advanced the discourse on the global move toward net-zero, focusing on green energy, with James Laybourn of DNV Energy Systems noting that with “many options in terms of fuel… We need to see where the priorities are and how exactly to tackle this energy transition.” Discussions also explored the future of the low-altitude economy driven by cargo drones, where Bobby Healy, CEO of Manna Drone Delivery, pointed out that “The challenge has always been to find a friendly drone-regulated country. The next challenge is going to be accessing the actual airspace.” The conference ultimately culminated with the Hong Kong NextGen Logistician Award Presentation Ceremony 2025, honouring young talent who have demonstrated outstanding potential in innovative, smart, and sustainable logistics.
