WFS secures Cargo iQ quality certification for its cargo handling hubs across Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of SATS Group, has been awarded the Cargo iQ quality certification for its air cargo handling operations across the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA) region. The certification spans nearly 50 airport stations in key countries including India, Germany, France, the UK, and Thailand.
Cargo iQ, backed by IATA, promotes global air cargo quality through its Master Operating Plan (MOP), a framework outlining end-to-end shipment processes and standardised performance milestones from shipper to receiver.
To attain certification, WFS demonstrated full integration of Cargo iQ’s MOP across its operations, including staff training, real-time monitoring tools, and a focus on continuous improvement. Export milestones like warehouse acceptance and flight departure, and import stages such as cargo receipt and final delivery, are all tracked under this system.
John Dowds, SVP Service Delivery – EMEA, said this achievement highlights WFS and SATS’ ongoing dedication to service excellence and performance consistency across all certified stations.
WFS and SATS now operate across 215 stations in 27 countries, covering more than half of global air cargo trade routes.
