Welspun One Logistics Parks has announced the successful financial closure of ₹2,300 crore for its flagship logistics park project located at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) in Navi Mumbai. The funding has been underwritten by the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), ensuring strong financial backing for the large-scale infrastructure initiative.
Spread over 55 acres within the JNPA Special Economic Zone (SEZ), the logistics park is Welspun One’s most ambitious development to date, with a total construction potential exceeding 3.6 million square feet. Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the park will serve key industries including e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), FMCG, and manufacturing.
The facility aims to significantly bolster India’s logistics ecosystem by offering state-of-the-art warehousing solutions and boosting supply chain resilience. Welspun One emphasized that the funding milestone ensures the project remains on track for timely execution, aligning with its vision of contributing to national infrastructure growth.
The project’s strategic location within a major port region is expected to enhance multimodal connectivity and offer seamless logistics solutions to both domestic and international clients.
