UPS nearly doubles Delhi-Europe air freight capacity to support India’s growing exports to Europe and the US.

UPS has significantly expanded its air freight operations between Delhi and Cologne, Germany, nearly doubling capacity to meet rising export demand from Indian businesses. Operating a Boeing 747-8, the enhanced service offers faster, more reliable logistics solutions for key sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare.
The additional flight strengthens UPS’s global air network, linking India directly to Europe and indirectly to the US, India’s largest export market. Indian exporters also gain access to UPS’s robust European ground network, including Saturday Standard deliveries in eight major markets at no extra charge.
India’s trade with Europe hit USD 137.41 billion in 2023–24, underscoring the region’s importance. The new flight coincides with India’s growing global trade influence and the recently agreed UK-India trade deal.
In India, the expansion is supported by MOVIN, UPS’s joint venture with InterGlobe Enterprises, enhancing domestic connectivity, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. With investments in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, UPS continues to scale infrastructure and technology to empower Indian businesses globally.
