A new partnership aims to bridge the EXIM skills gap for women through training, digital tools, and industry exposure.

Softlink Academy, the training arm of Softlink Global, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EXIM Management Services and SNDT Women’s College, Pune, to strengthen women’s participation in India’s Export-Import (EXIM) and logistics sector.
The collaboration blends academic learning with practical industry training, offering students certified programs, hands-on sessions on Logi-Sys ERP, and mentorship from logistics professionals. The initiative focuses on documentation, customs compliance, shipment lifecycle, and digital operations, ensuring graduates are career-ready.
This industry–academia–government effort addresses both the skills gap and the gender imbalance in EXIM, historically been underrepresented by women. Through programs like LogiLEARN and LogiSKILL, students will gain real-world experience, industry connections, and enhanced employability.
Leaders from all three institutions emphasised that combining education with digital proficiency and field insights will produce a confident, future-ready workforce equipped to lead in global trade.
