Unicommerce’s Shipway integrates ElasticRun to enable faster same- and next-day deliveries across six major Indian cities.

Unicommerce’s shipping and logistics SaaS platform, Shipway, has onboarded ElasticRun to strengthen same-day and next-day delivery capabilities for e-commerce and D2C brands, addressing rising consumer expectations around fulfilment speed.
The integration enhances hyperlocal last-mile operations across six key cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata, enabling brands to deliver orders faster without investing in their own local delivery infrastructure. The rollout currently supports intra-city hyperlocal movements, with plans to expand into faster inter-city deliveries in the next phase.
By combining Shipway’s logistics technology, covering real-time tracking, issue management, performance insights, and smart routing, with ElasticRun’s locally operated delivery network, brands operating through warehouses, dark stores, and local hubs can improve delivery speed while optimising logistics costs. For ElasticRun, the partnership opens access to Shipway’s ecosystem of digital-first brands and sellers, supporting higher network adoption and shipment volumes.
Commenting on the partnership, Sandeep Deshmukh, co-founder & CEO, ElasticRun, said the collaboration will help scale AI-driven fulfilment capabilities, including smarter inventory placement, routing, and last-mile execution, enabling brands to meet same-day and next-day delivery expectations without operational complexity.
Kapil Makhija, MD & CEO, Unicommerce, noted that as everyday-use categories such as FMCG, personal care, fashion, and essentials gain prominence in India’s retail and e-commerce landscape, faster deliveries are becoming critical to customer experience, making such integrations central to next-generation fulfilment strategies.
Designed to support standard parcel deliveries, hyperlocal shipments, time-bound movements, and B2B logistics, Shipway continues to expand its automation-led orchestration as brands seek to balance speed, cost, and reliability across India’s evolving supply chain ecosystem.
