Shadowfax is prepared to allow same-day and next-day deliveries for direct-to-consumer (D2C) firms like boAT, Mamaearth, and MyGlamm in cooperation with Shiprocket. Shadowfax Technologies is India’s largest crowdsourced third-party logistics network for last-mile delivery. By the end of this year, the service will be available in the top 20 Indian cities, and it will then be strategically expanded to other areas of the nation. The partnership aims to take advantage of Shadowfax’s extensive hyperlocal fleet presence across the top cities in India to provide speed and reliability, giving it a competitive edge when compared to traditional logistical solutions. Shiprocket is India’s largest e-commerce shipping enablement platform.
Praharsh Chandra, co-founder and chief operating officer of Shadowfax Technologies, commented on the collaboration: “Our company has always placed a priority on speed, so we are thrilled to work with Shiprocket to make same-day and next-day deliveries possible. We have the ideal platform to offer cost-effective express logistics solutions to D2C firms that are now unable to access them thanks to our robust e-commerce and hyperlocal network across the nation. “
According to Saahil Goel, CEO and Co-Founder of Shiprocket, “Today, same-day and next-day deliveries are a reality in eCommerce. Shiprocket is dedicated to enabling the ecosystem and providing ultimate delight to end users. We are excited to collaborate with Shadowfax to combine our strengths and enable Indian D2C brands to provide a competitive delivery experience. “
Shadowfax has recently made significant inroads into the express logistics space, most recently with its partnership with Zomato to enable next-day food delivery across major metros across the country through its Inter-City Legends programme. The decision to add express services follows a highly successful holiday season, in which the company received a total of 2 million orders per day across all of its business lines.
