Shadowfax makes a ₹50 crore bet with OneNCR mega-hub, processing up to 1 million shipments daily to power faster deliveries.
Shadowfax has significantly strengthened its national logistics network with the commissioning of OneNCR, its largest and most advanced automated sortation facility to date, is now fully operational in the NCR region.
The development follows disclosures made in the company’s Offer Documents and marks a major milestone in Shadowfax’s scale-up strategy. Built with an investment of approximately ₹50 crore, the 2.1 lakh sq. ft mega-hub represents a step change in both operational capacity and technological capability for the on-demand logistics major.
At the heart of OneNCR is a state-of-the-art automated sorter capable of processing 48,000 shipments per hour, placing it among the highest-throughput sortation centres in the Indian logistics industry. At peak performance, the facility is engineered to handle up to 10 lakh (1 million) shipments per day, serving as the primary backbone for Shadowfax Prime, the company’s same-day and next-day delivery vertical.
The hub introduces a high-efficiency “single-touch” logistics model, redefining conventional workflows. By enabling nearly 80% of shipments to be directly manifested for last-mile delivery at origin, the facility significantly reduces multiple handovers, cutting down transit times and minimising handling errors.
Operational highlights of OneNCR include:
