Saudi Arabia opens Riyadh Industry Week 2025 with 524 companies from 20 countries and major global partnerships.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources officially launched the Riyadh International Industry Week 2025 today, marking a milestone in Saudi Arabia’s journey toward industrial diversification and global collaboration. The event was inaugurated by Eng. Abdulaziz bin Majid Al-Ahmadi, Deputy Minister for Industrial Development, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
With the participation of 524 companies from 20 countries, the event has drawn a significant global presence, including government officials, industry leaders, investors, and technical experts from various sectors.
In his opening address, Eng. Al-Ahmadi emphasised the strategic importance of the event in fostering sustainable industrial growth and forming impactful partnerships between government and private sector stakeholders. He also highlighted the National Industrial Strategy, which outlines 15 key enablers for the Kingdom’s industrial transformation. These are structured around four pillars:
- Supply chain integration and resilience
- Regulatory enhancement
- Export growth and market access
- Research, development, and innovation
More than 136 government-led initiatives are currently being implemented to support these objectives.
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, Chairman of Riyadh Exhibitions Company, welcomed guests and lauded the event as a flagship initiative to showcase Saudi Arabia’s investment potential and industrial leadership in the region. He underlined the exhibition’s focus on innovative industrial solutions aligned with the Kingdom’s future vision.
A major announcement during the inauguration was the strategic agreement between Riyadh Exhibitions Company and Messe Düsseldorf, a German event organiser. This collaboration will bring three global industrial exhibitions to Saudi Arabia:
- “K” – the leading fair for plastics and rubber
- “INTERPACK” – premier event for packaging and processing
- “Drupa” – the world’s largest printing technology exhibition
This partnership marks a strategic step in transforming the Kingdom into a regional hub for industrial innovation and a preferred host for specialized global exhibitions.
The Riyadh International Industry Week 2025 includes four major concurrent trade shows:
- Saudi Plastics and Petrochemicals Exhibition
- Printing and Packaging Exhibition
- Smart Manufacturing Exhibition
- Saudi Smart Logistics Exhibition
The event is also hosting an industrial forum with over 50 speakers from around the world. The forum features panel discussions and sessions on key themes such as manufacturing excellence, supply chain transformation, and digital industrial innovation.
With more than 25,000 visitors expected, the event reinforces Saudi Arabia’s growing stature as a dynamic and forward-looking industrial economy, aligning with Vision 2030 goals and promoting diversified economic development.
