Supply chain veteran and academic Prof. Animesh Gupta has been appointed Advisor for Strategic Sales at Blue Energy Motors, bringing over three decades of techno-commercial leadership to the company’s push into LNG and green commercial vehicles.

Blue Energy Motors has appointed Prof. Animesh Gupta as Advisor for Strategic Sales, tasking him with strengthening partnerships with fleet operators, logistics firms and policymakers as it accelerates the adoption of low-carbon heavy-duty trucking in India.
Gupta brings over 33 years of experience across steel, power, petrochemicals, lubricants, automobile OEMs and industrial consulting. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from CSJM University where he graduated as a rank holder, and a Certification in Sustainable Business Enterprise from IIM Bangalore.
His career includes senior leadership roles at Indo Rama Synthetics, Gulf Petrochem, Bhushan Power and Steel, Castrol India and Jindal Steel and Power, where as President and Group Chief Logistics Officer he managed logistics networks with an annual spend of nearly INR 7,000 crore, overseeing large-scale operational efficiency and digital transformation programmes.
In addition to his industry career, Prof. Gupta serves as a Professor of Practice, with his academic work focused on supply chain transformation, industrial logistics and sustainable mobility ecosystems.
His mandate at Blue Energy Motors will be to advance India’s transition toward sustainable freight mobility, with a particular focus on expanding the company’s footprint in the LNG and next-generation green commercial vehicle segment.
