PM Modi lays foundation of Hisar Airport terminal; highlights Ambedkar’s vision, slams Congress over social injustice.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a new terminal building at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, Haryana, worth over ₹410 crore. He emphasised the government’s focus on improving connectivity and ensuring social justice, aligning with the vision of Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. Modi highlighted that flights from Hisar to Ayodhya have begun, directly linking the land of Shri Krishna to the city of Lord Ram.
He stated that in the past decade, millions have flown for the first time, thanks to UDAN and aviation expansion. India now has over 150 airports, up from 74 before 2014. The PM said Hisar Airport will unlock new opportunities for Haryana’s youth.
Criticising the Congress, Modi accused them of insulting Ambedkar and misusing the Constitution for vote-bank politics. He emphasised that his government has worked to empower SC, ST, and OBC communities through financial inclusion, water and sanitation access, and job creation. Modi also called out the misuse of Waqf land and announced reforms to protect tribal and underprivileged rights.
