Om Institute, backed by Om Logistics, powers Haryana’s State Skill Competitions 2026, grooming young talent for India Skills with industry-led evaluation.

The Haryana State Skill Competitions 2026 in Logistics and Freight Forwarding have successfully concluded, spotlighting young talent and industry-ready skills, with Om Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management playing a pivotal role in executing the event.
The competition was organised in collaboration with the Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM) and hosted at the Om Institute’s Jamalpur campus in Gurugram. An initiative of Om Logistics Limited, the institute brought together aspiring logistics professionals from across Haryana, offering them a real-world platform to showcase capabilities in one of India’s fastest-growing sectors.
Serving as a qualifying round for the prestigious India Skill Competition, the event blended the government’s skilling vision with strong industry execution. Participants underwent a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process that included a written test, group discussions and personal interviews. This structure was designed to assess not only technical knowledge but also communication skills and practical problem-solving abilities essential for modern logistics operations.
To ensure fairness and industry relevance, evaluations were conducted under the supervision of a three-member jury representing academia, industry and HSDM. Beyond assessment, participants received focused domain guidance, helping them confidently navigate complex logistics scenarios.
Sharing his views, Himanshu Agarwal, National HR Head, said the initiative reflects a long-term commitment to purposeful, industry-driven skill development. He emphasised close collaboration with the government to build scalable, high-impact skilling platforms that go beyond competitions to create a continuous pipeline of confident, job-ready logistics professionals.
The top performers will now advance to the national stage, carrying Haryana’s logistics talent forward. The successful completion of the competition underlines the growing role of industry-backed institutions like Om Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in strengthening India’s skill ecosystem and building a future-ready logistics workforce.
