Nevomo, a European deep-tech company renowned for its innovative MagRail technology, has joined forces with Umeandus Technologies, an Indian firm specialising in Automated Container Evacuation System (ACES) development. Together, they aim to revolutionise India’s ports, railways, and freight distribution facilities by integrating their cutting-edge technologies to boost virtual capacity.
Rajeev Chanan, CEO & MD of Umeandus Technologies, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasising its potential to optimise resource utilisation for a sustainable circular economy. Umeandus’s focus on enhancing land and space productivity aligns with Nevomo’s vision for transforming surface transportation with next-generation technologies like e-FTS, Carri-Port, and Directport.
The partnership holds promise for India’s ambitious economic goals, including its aim to become a $5 trillion economy by 2027. By leveraging MagRail Booster technology, ports can achieve higher capacity, performance, and sustainability, thus supporting India’s aspirations for economic growth and global trade connectivity.
