Neutral Air Partner has initiated a significant partnership with Cargo iQ, marking a pivotal move towards improving standards and efficiency in the air cargo sector. Cargo iQ, an IATA interest group comprising stakeholders in the air cargo supply chain, focuses on setting standards and enhancing quality and performance within the sector.
The collaboration emphasises a commitment to end-to-end supply chain transparency. Cargo iQ’s key projects involve standardising processes and implementing quality benchmarks. Notably, Cargo iQ’s advanced visibility functions offer real-time insight into shipment movement through a collaborative “route map” shared by airlines and freight forwarders. This feature enables forwarders to monitor air cargo movement, receive real-time replanning information, and alerts for exception handling.
Cargo iQ extends its visibility function to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) through a tailored program, addressing the unique needs of smaller businesses. This program offers SMEs access to Cargo iQ’s route map at a customised price point, ensuring simplified onboarding.
The collaboration is anticipated to enhance services, providing essential visibility and efficiency for members. Together, Neutral Air Partner and Cargo iQ set a precedent for future collaborations prioritising transparency and reliability in the dynamic air cargo industry.
