Maruti Suzuki aims to boost exports with the new Dzire, targeting markets like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Latin America.
Maruti Suzuki India is preparing to expand its global presence with the launch of a new version of its Dzire sedan, targeting regions such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Mexico, and other Latin American markets.
This push comes as the automaker aims to surpass 300,000 units in exports this fiscal year, a significant leap from under 100,000 units just four years ago, according to Rahul Bharti, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at Maruti Suzuki India.
The export growth aligns with Maruti’s strategy to introduce more models in new markets, with plans to re-enter Europe and Japan in the future. In India, the company hopes the new Dzire will bolster its sedan market share, despite shifting consumer preferences toward SUVs. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales, emphasised the company’s commitment to maintaining a diverse lineup across segments, ensuring consumers have options regardless of market trends.
With the upcoming Dzire featuring sleek designs, advanced tech, and six airbags, Maruti Suzuki anticipates strong domestic and international demand.
