Lufthansa Cargo, the logistics subsidiary of Germany’s flag-carrier airline, has introduced a new weekly service linking its central hub at Frankfurt Airport with the Scandinavian hub at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The service, initiated on November 4, utilises a newly acquired Airbus A321 freighter, operating from Friday night to Saturday morning each week.
This new connection provides the opportunity for late deliveries from Stockholm Arlanda on Fridays and seamless integration into Lufthansa Cargo’s global network the following morning. The route is expected to offer faster transit times, particularly for high-value exports like technology, pharmaceuticals, and machinery from Sweden.
