300 JEM TEZ e-LCVs join Pickkup’s fleet, boosting sustainable last- and mid-mile deliveries and India’s clean mobility goals.

A significant stride towards sustainable logistics in India has been made as Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the electric vehicle arm of Jupiter Wagons, announced an MOU with Pickkup, a rapidly growing Delhi-based logistics platform. This strategic partnership, signed on May 28, 2025, aims to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the nation’s logistics sector, aligning with the Government of India’s PM e-DRIVE scheme and vision for clean mobility.
Under the agreement, 300 units of JEM TEZ, JEM’s advanced electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV), are set to join Pickkup’s expanding EV fleet by the end of this year. The collaboration has already commenced with the successful delivery of the first batch of JEM TEZ vehicles, following extensive pilot runs. These trials demonstrated exceptional real-world performance, range reliability, and operational efficiency, consistently delivering a range of over 190 km and up to 220 km on a single charge across diverse conditions, including intercity routes like Delhi to Chandigarh.
Vivek Lohia, Managing Director, Jupiter Group, stated, “Our alliance with Pickkup is a strategic move towards achieving India’s ambitious clean mobility goals, facilitating the mass adoption of electric commercial vehicles in the logistics ecosystem.” He emphasised transforming last- and mid-mile logistics into a scalable, tech-enabled, and environmentally friendly ecosystem.
Ankush Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Pickkup, lauded the JEM TEZ, noting its CCS2 charging compatibility, 30% more range on a single charge, and 1050 kg payload capacity. “This creates a strong niche in the market. We’re now set to deploy these vehicles for intercity logistics, where they can run up to 250 km daily while enabling higher earnings potential,” Sharma added.
Pickkup, an EV-first logistics company with a presence in NCR and tier-2 markets, focuses on decarbonising intercity logistics. This partnership reinforces its scalable delivery infrastructure, enhancing both capacity and driver incomes through its 3W and 4W commercial EV fleet.
Jupiter Electric Mobility is committed to domestic EV manufacturing, demonstrated by its state-of-the-art plant in Pithampur, Indore, with an initial production capacity of 8,000 to 10,000 e-LCVs. This collaboration between JEM and Pickkup marks a pivotal step in accelerating EV adoption in logistics, contributing to India’s national goals of reducing carbon emissions, enhancing energy security, and fostering sustainable growth.
