India Post has rolled out several new initiatives to improve its services, focusing on technology, e-commerce, and digital banking.
India Post has launched several measures to boost operational efficiency and expand its service offerings. A network of 233 Nodal Delivery Centers and 190 Parcel Hubs has been established to improve parcel delivery and processing. The integration of advanced tracking systems, real-time delivery status, and self-booking kiosks will further streamline services for customers.
In addition, 1013 DakGharNiryatKendras (DNKs) have been set up to assist small exporters with e-commerce exports, offering services such as label generation and export documentation.
India Post has also enhanced its digital services with the integration of Core Banking Solutions across all post offices, allowing for mobile banking and digital transactions. The India Post Payments Bank will further facilitate seamless digital payments linked to Post Office Savings Accounts.
Post Offices have also expanded their services, including passport assistance, Aadhaar updates, and railway ticket bookings, offering greater convenience to citizens across India.
