Significant infrastructure investments were also underscored, including a $200 million expansion at Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal and involvement in the Vadhavan Port project.
The CMA CGM leadership expressed strong interest in India’s ship recycling sector, particularly Alang, and highlighted plans to source containers and green steel from India to support global sustainability goals. The company, employing over 2,200 digital professionals in India, is also exploring the launch of maritime R&D and innovation hubs across Indian cities.
