Himachal Pradesh is extending its full-fledged logistical support to entrepreneurs keen on investing in the state’s thriving industrial landscape. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasised the government’s commitment to bolstering logistics infrastructure to attract business investments.
In a significant development, the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Industrial Association (BBNIA) showcased its dedication by presenting a contribution of Rs.2.02 crore to the ‘Aapda Rahat Kosh’ fund. This contribution underlines the industry’s solidarity with the state’s growth trajectory.
Chief Minister Sukhu assured prospective investors of comprehensive logistic support, with a particular focus on upgrading road and rail connectivity in key industrial zones. He highlighted ongoing discussions with the Union Government to expedite the introduction of rail connectivity in the industrial belt. The state is also actively planning to transform the Nalagarh-Bharatgarh road into a four-lane highway, aimed at easing transportation for industrialists and commuters.
Sukhu’s proactive approach was further showcased when he recently unveiled a relief package of Rs.4,500 crore to aid individuals affected by natural disasters resulting from heavy rains between July and September.
