Over 2,200 meetings and ₹500 crore in export enquiries mark FIEO’s vibrant International Buyer-Seller Meet in Gujarat.

In a major boost to India’s export momentum, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), with the support of the Government of Gujarat under the World Bank RAMP Project, successfully hosted a two-day International Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) on October 9–10, 2025, at Ganpat University, Mehsana. The event was part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the North Gujarat region.
The meet witnessed over 2,200 structured B2B meetings between 40 international buyers from 17 countries and more than 850 exporters from Gujarat across key sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agro & food processing, and engineering goods.
Delivering strong business outcomes, the event saw 350+ MoUs signed and export enquiries exceeding ₹500 crore, reaffirming Gujarat’s growing status as a global export powerhouse.
The event drew the participation of top officials and industry leaders, including Pankaj Joshi, Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat; Ajay Bhadoo, Director General of Foreign Trade; P Swaroop, Industries Commissioner; Sandip J Sagale, MSME Commissioner; and Praveena D K, Vice Chairman & MD, GIDC. Dignitaries interacted with buyers and sellers, commending FIEO’s efforts in fostering export-led growth.
Highlighting the significance of the meet, S C Ralhan, President of FIEO, said, “This platform has strengthened global trade linkages, enhanced supply chain partnerships, and reinforced Gujarat’s position as a leader in exports and manufacturing.”
Participating countries included the USA, Germany, Russia, the UAE, Vietnam, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Bhutan, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Botswana.
The event reflects FIEO’s continued commitment to advancing India’s export potential through collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity; supporting the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, “Local Goes Global”, and export-led economic growth.
